Week 09 Semester 02

Today was the Heal a Heart event where a speaker came in to talk about handling anxiety and depression in life, and taking little steps to overcome their challenges. So many students stood up to share their stories or were asking for guidance on how to help those they loved through their challenging times. It's moments like these that I believe in and love the most. So many believe the world has become such an evil and bad place, but I don't believe that for a second. Sometimes good is the silent majority. And thats what I believe in and fight for in anyway I can. This week was pre-panel week so naturally the Emedia kids had a party and watched some project videos! Ju Ju's was incredible, as well as so many others and it was so inspiring to finally find a productive Emedia place where I seriously fit like a glove. I have been dreaming about this since HS! Not to mention, tears filled my eyes as gratitude did my heart when so many felt so moved by my project and what it has accomplished. I was amazed to see how much recognition my peers and friends were honestly giving me. What an uplifting moment. That's the first time I felt like... OMG... I DID IT!
